STUDIOMACI.architettura&design was set up in Bologna in 1991 by Roberto Maci. We specialise in providing project design and project management services at all levels - from public and private buildings, to commercial outlets, homes and interior design - and believe in promoting environmentally-friendly and clean-energy solutions wherever possible, as well as the use of natural construction materials and techniques. We oversee the whole creative process for each project, from the research phase to marketing, from feasibility studies to the design phase, and from the technical development of an idea, to carrying out environmental impact analyses, and finally to directing specific construction jobs. STUDIOMACI.architettura&design covers all aspects of project design, working together with various third parties (urban planners, architectural authorities, structural and plant engineers, security and safety authorities, furnishers, equipment suppliers, etc) and oversees all building industry administration details (building permission, health and safety permits, superintendence, etc). In recent years, we have successfully completed international projects in China and the United States. We also provide product design services, working mainly in the field of interior design for companies: lighting collection for Vistosi; padded seat collection for Sofart; a series of handles for RDS handles; armchairs for Enrico Pellizzoni; lighting collection for Prandina; corporate identity for Tibaldi pens; prototypes for designer objects for Mandarina Duck; seat collection for Target;. Studio Maci is also involved in graphic design projects and develops visual advertising products for selected clients.
